Good, Bad and Middle Days

My husband and I were talking about how we have 3 kinds of days lately.  Days where we think “they” are all wrong, G is just a typical, if high energy, boy.  Days where we think he has Aspergers or SPD and we’re optimistic about it, feeling like we are getting the tools and support we need to raise a healthy, happy boy.  And then the bad days, where we think he has Aspergers and SPD and feel like we have no idea what we’re doing as parents.  So far we’ve been able to cycle opposite of each other, so that when one of us is feeling down the other one can step in and boost us up.

Yesterday was almost a very bad day.  DH was feeling down and I wasn’t exactly feeling up.  But I was able to talk myself into being positive so we pulled out of the funk.  I’m sure this is a normal cycle as we sort things out, but it sure is exhausting!
